Now here, go on their feeds and speeds PDF and look up this product number and use the feeds and rpm it tells you. (I run about a little lower when using roughing cycles on mastercam so about 75 IPM or so) Make sure the machine you have has enough power to run it at max; max cutting depth could be put a little lower too if you are roughing (so about add an extra 1/16 to the radius of the cutter for depth but take the rpm down by at least 20%)

So I don't do much aluminum, but lots of acrylic. It gives me a nice semi polished finish on extruded acrylic.

YG-1 makes great cutting tools, you can't go wrong with them. These are very very sharp, use the supplied cap when installing or removing these from a mill. Highly recommended cutter.

This thing shreds aluminum. I usually mill steel parts, and using a 4-6 flute for aluminum is rough on the machine. This thing tore ass through my projects and it’s still in great condition.

My CNC max spindle is 6K, these endmills wish I had more to give!On 6061, I pushing at 5500 at 90+ ipm, 1/8 radial depth and 7/8" deep per pass...Chips rooster tail across the CNC.Amazing tool!

We've been using the Alu-power end mills for a couple of years now on T6-6061. They are a little cheaper than other brands and perform just as well. We running them 575 sfm and .006 chip load per tooth and they give great life.
