The component multi-out cable is compatible with Sony PlayStation PS1 & PS2 & PS3 & PS3 Slim gaming console.
Ypbpr or Ycbcr components and RCA/AV compsite cable, you can connect the Composite RCA Audio Video Cable to High Resolution TV. (Supports TV / LCD of 240p/ 480p/ 720p/ 1080i/ 1080p )
Adjust PS2 output to RGB mode
1.The yellow lotus head corresponds to the TV's yellow Composite video input jack, and the red and white correspond to the audio channel input.
2.Setting method: boot into the Seven Stars screen without placing the disk, press the direction down and then press the X button, after entering, press the three bottom up or down to find the image output, and then select RGB.
Adjust PS2 output to Ypbpr mode
1.Select the corresponding Ypbpr interface on the TV.

Adjust PS3 output to Ypbpr mode
PlayStation 3: The "Video Output Settings" option must be set to "Components" in the console's "Display" (and supported resolutions.) Normally this will work out of the box; if you can't use this cable, follow the steps below Steps to operate:
Settings menu, to reset your PlayStation 3 to the default Ypbpr compatible video mode, press and hold the power button while the console is off until you hear two beeps. Once the console is powered on, navigate the menu and set the "Video Out" Settings" to the desired one.
NOTES
This cable only for PS1,PS2 and PS3. Other game consoles are not supported.
PS1 do not support YPBPR output.

I have another cable, that is better quality, and was about the same price, so shop around, if you want the best quality. For everyone else, this is a good cable. It's well constructed for what it is, and I feel the quality is the high end of medium quality, or the low end of high quality.

Only tested RCA on a PS2, worked just fine. Cable feels nice, kink-free, and fairly high quality. Just keep in mind, 6 feet is pretty short for a cable.I'm looking to eventually set up my PS2 on a VGA monitor once I get my hands on a proper YPbPr transcoder. When that day comes, if anything changes for component, I'll update the review.

My original cable for my PS2 broke and no longer displayed on my TV. This new cable works perfectly with no delay, static, or issues at all. Picture quality is also very good and so is the sound.

I’ve tried several similar products and this is the best I’ve come across so far. The picture and sound are great, it’s easy to set up and a nicer image than the standard RCA cable.

I used this with an older 2010s flatscreen TV and the color was all off. Not sure what the issue is but definitely a worse experience than RCA cables.

I ordered this cable to improve the output to TV for one of my Playstations. Tried on a PSOne, an original PS, and a Playstation 3. The cable sent no signal. Each of the Playstation units sends a signal fine through other cables. This cable appears to be dead-on-arrival. This is a serious quality assurance issue for me; the cable has just one job: send a clear signal to the display. This cable sends no signal. Cannot recommend.

I was a little worried that because this has a composite connection as well, that the whole cable might just use composite signal like the S-Video+composite cables do. Turns out this does appear to be a regular component signal and looks way better than composite. The cable works great, and when it's run through an HDMI converter, it can make the PS2 look as good as playing PS2 games on a PS3.
