It states that this cable will charge a ps3 controller. I express ordered this cable after purchasing a ps3 (which came with the wrong cable already) only to discover that this cable doesn’t work/charge my controller. I am fuming. This weekend has been a nightmare for online shopping

I know, I know, who uses mini USB anymore these days? I'll tell you who: people who have old GoPros, PS3s, and any modern dash cam. I have all of those, but I'm using these for my dash cam. I recently acquired a 3-view dashcam that gave the option to be powered by 12V DC or USB, and I really want to use the USB option as my 12V DC is occupied by a 12V->dual USB adapter. Unfortunately, the dashcam came with a very short mini USB to USB A cable, so I've got this thing running straight down in the middle of my car. So when this listing for extra long mini USB cables came up, I had to jump on it. These are great for power delivery and have been steady for my dashcam, my PS3 controllers, and my GoPro 6 battery charger. The cable works both during active use and standby charging. The cord exterior feels like quality and shouldn't fray or split anytime soon. If you're in need of a long mini USB to USB A cable, just get these by Hauzik. A 2 pack of 3ft/10m cables at $9 is a solid value.

Used this to route power to my dash cam. The extra length made it possible to run up above in the headliner, through the a pillar and behind the glove box to a power source. Have had not power connection issues even in the hot summer weather so the cable is quality.

They have been holding up well over the last few weeks while using it to charge PS3 controllers and a few thermal cameras. Excellent cables.
