It’s cheap plastic and cheap price so dont go cranking on it. The thing is LOUD for being a small 12v on demand air horn. Got a nice little relay kit with a separate button all wired up in the truck and it works great. Be aware the thing pulls 26A so plan accordingly.

Pretty good value for money in terms of sheer loudness. It remains to be seen how durable it and its compressor are.

Interstate Left Lane Campers, Sleeping at a Red Light/Stop Sign, Generally Choking Traffic By Going 20mph Under the Limit... you are getting this horn blown at you! I watched a lot of videos on Truck/Train horns, and this one, surprisingly came in very loud. For the price, I couldn't pass it up! Mounted the pump next to the battery, running off a 15A relay. Mounted the horn under the bumper frame support on my F150. Its VERY LOUD!! Its gotten the attention of EVERYONE its needed too so far! I have had it installed for a few months so far, and unfortunately, I have had to use it way more than I want too. I have about 5ft hose from the pump to the horn and it takes about 1s or less to light up when I hit the horn. Momentary honks from truck factory horn when setting alarm, do not generally cause this horn to light up, but if the alarm goes off, look out! Its LOUD... especially in the carport! For the price, you cannot beat it!! Recommended.

After waiting a month for this item it arrived with no instructions or wire harness. Don't waste your time or money. Buy one of the many other units that include both.

It was really easy to install.Yeah there are some plastic parts. Though the sound the sound is really valuable it sounds like a semi horn. I'm thinking about getting a second one.Because I do still have one of the trucks Oem horns and when i hit the horn its two tone . So to get another one it would be a lot louder. I like loud horns because people can hear them over their loud music

You do need a relay kit at least I did because the wire for my old horn was like 5 amps or something they cost around $10 on Amazon but make sure to get a waterproof horn relay kit. But this thing sounds amazing The videos in the review section do not give it justice it is so freaking loud which is exactly what I want I want people to pee their pants when they cut me off. Absolutely amazing worth every penny. A little tedious to install but such is life

I installed this unit in my Honda Accord for that added attention I want when a horn blast is necessary. The Honda Accord has two OEM horns. I replaced one with this airhorn. Three issues of note. (1) The first product arrived without any installation hardware. AMAZON was quick to provide a replacement. (2) the quality of the horn is spotty at best, with the chromed surface rough in some spots - only noticeable when you have horns two together for comparison. But, who cares. I placed the horn behind the grill work where only a mechanic will see it. (3) the horn requires a minimum of a 15 AMP circuit to operate. The Accord circuitry is 10 AMP. I simply moved a 15 AMP fuse into the circuit. Other than that it works and it is loud. I will appear to be a big truck, with a car's body in the rear view mirror.

The product was great, very simple to install, negative to negative, positive to positive. But I do recommend that you put an inline fuze just to be sure. The quality is pretty fair, it's made of metal, I don't see it breaking anytime soon. I've had mine for about a year now and it's still going strong. It's plenty loud and definitely gets your attention.

This horn is very well built and super loud! I have a late model Nissan 4x4 with the factory horn, embarrassing me every time I honked it. It made a barely audible whimper. No one ever paid attention to it. The first time I honked this baby, I think the woman that tried to cut me off, by the look of terror and surprise on her face, pooped her pants.I had tried another air horn before this one. It was an assembly of two very short horns. They were loud, but a very high pitched sound that I didn't like. It sounded like an angry Fiat. After researching, I found out that to have a lower pitched horn, it needed to be longer. This horn is lower pitched in sound. It sounds like a train horn or big rig horn. Because of the 17 inch length of this horn, the only place I could mount it was facing down at about 60 degrees angle, located between the radiator and front grill. I mounted the air compressor in the engine compartment and ran an air hose that I purchased ( the air hose that comes with the unit is only about 12 inches long) to the horn (about a 2 foot run). I like to keep things low key and noticed that because the horn is chrome, you can really see it through the grill. So I decided to get some high temperature flat black spray paint and painted the horn. So now it blends nicely into the black radiator and is no longer noticeable. If you want this horn to blow even louder, check out the Wolo 808-C high performance air compressor. It puts out 18-21 psi. Most standard air compressors that come with air horns put out 12 psi. I upgraded the compressor to the Wolo and it definitely made this horn even louder.
