Just about perfect for my e-bike, perhaps a bit overkill. Works on my 18v line without a step-down, though I may consider moving it to my step-down 12v to reduce possible wear on the horn. I do try not to use my horns when not really needed, but sometimes, you just need to get a drivers attention when they are doing something they shouldn't.
