I’ve tried probably 20 different mouth calls and this is definitely my favorite. Pretty easy call for someone who’s used one before. Very raspy and real sounding. Plus it’s a very versatile call. Great sound with many features. Another quality woodhaven call

This is my favorite call for really reaching out there and striking up birds. It has a great rasp to it that comes natural with the cuts in the reed. I don't go out without at least one in my vest.

A hunting buddy recommended these calls to me. This one specifically. I decided to buy this one and the Black Venom and I love them both. I want to buy at least one more of their calls because they have such a variety. I'm also new to turkey calling so it was nice that they came with really small easy instructions. I was clucking and pecking within a couple of days. 10/10 recommend these calls! Thanks!

I've been using diaphragm calls for almost 20 years now, and I came across Woodhaven around 6 years ago. Other than Zink calls, nothing comes close to the realism. I was hesitant because I've never used this series of calls by woodhaven yet, but then again, I haven't ever used a Woodhaven diaphragm I didn't like. I'm not a competition caller by any means, but I'm most certainly not a weekend warrior either. Getting into 3 or even 4 reed calls, the amount of pressure needed to run them increases. But, i put a small down ward bend in the latex bar, not only to fit more comfortably in the roof of my mouth, but to take just a little bit of the stretch pressure off of the latex reeds, and this call blew my mind. It's pretty much an all around do all of diaphragms. It'll give soft tree yelps, with nominal force, no problem, purrs great, and when you increase pressure just a bit, will makes cuts that are unbelievable. Kee Kee runs aren't much of a problem either. If you call 90% of your spring birds in by mouth, and you're looking for a nasty multi reed call that's pretty much a do all, do yourself a favor and don't even think twice about buying one of these Woodhavens.
