I have used these before and I am a big fan of the Primos calls. Killed my first turkey with the true double back in 1988. They are an easy call to use and hold up well. Not as Raspy as some but sounds good.

Easy to use and a nice mature raspy sound, but not the call if you are only looking for a younger hen sound. This is a boss hen call. The reeds don't seem to stick together as much also as some others do.
