The Blue Cutter Signature Call is a three reed “Cutter” style call that is slightly notched in the corner. It is made with clear latex that is extremely easy to blow with great overall turkey sound. The Blue Cutter has the ability to create very clear front-end yelps dropping off with good raspy yelps.

I find the advertisement here very misleading. I was expecting to get two of these based on the pictures but there is indeed only one call in this order. No big deal but I do find it a little bit confusing that they show two and every single picture but only one is in the package.

brand new, call was dead out of the package, customer service at woodhaven basically said (too bad for you)

As I’ve mentioned in other mouth calls that I felt that was manufactured by Woodhaven. They are some of the best sounding calls. Easy to blow. But the durability is not good at all. They come apart at the very end. If you are not careful. You can choke on little particles that come off of it. I took all the right precautions by keeping it clean. I even keep mine in the refrigerator. I’ve used mouth calls for over 35 years. These are the only ones I’ve ever had problems coming apart.

Woodhaven makes great calls and this one is just that. I will have to wait a couple of weeks here in Michigan to see how the birds like it but I love the sound and think it will be a great addition to the arsenal. Probably not a great call for someone just starting out but for someone who can run a diaphragm I recommend it.
