We've never tried this concept before, but saw them on a neighborhood tree.Birds were pecking at the blossoms for nesting purposes and we hope this will save the fruit come summer.

I am very excited to try these this Spring! Every year my two small fruit trees start creating fruit and something eats the little stubby fruit nubs. I have high hopes that this year we might get some of the fruit! I made my boys be trees and tried it out and it seemed to be easy to put on. The zipper worked well and the drawstring seemed to work fine. The netting material is fine and has a stretchiness to it that should help it to be resilient and it is fairly transparent and allow water and sun through it. This should keep pests off after the tree starts to fruit. Putting it on earlier would be counterproductive as the flowers need pollination in order to form fruit. I will still have to keep the ants off, but this should help dissuade the deer and hopefully the clever little squirrels? High hopes…! It came vacuum packed and I repackaged it in a gallon ziplock with the label. I also marked the label with the size as it didn’t state that on the label and I have two sizes of these tree netting bags. This should be good as, when the harvest is over, I can store it in the bag again.*Note*Vine reviewers are invited to select products on offer which Amazon then sends for free. There is no obligation to have a positive review and I try to review as honestly as possible so as not to deceive my fellow humans. There is no payment for reviewing and I have to pay tax on the items at the end of the year, so definitely try to pick things that will be helpful in daily life. I will plan on updating the review if my experience changes.*My rating method*1 star - Terrible. I wouldn't recommend purchasing.2 stars - Marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements to be useful. Buy at your own risk.3 stars - Somewhat lacking. Meets requirements for a product of this type, but is not out of the ordinary and somewhat lacking. If the price is good, consider purchasing.4 stars - Average. Meets the requirements of a product of this type, but is not extraordinary. Consider purchasing.5 stars - Exceptional. Excellent and has some nice features as well as being reasonably priced for a product of this type. Highly recommend purchasing, if it will be useful to have another whangdoodle.

I'm only using it about two weeks and covered my fig tree. It works well keeping insects, birds etc away. But today, when I unzipper it, I noticed the net was separating from the zipper. I was hoping to get another season out if this but that won't happen. I'll have to discard it when the season is over.

This is the first year that I’ve been able to enjoy the fruits from my tree.

The bag was not big enough to cover our pear tree but I was able to join 2 bags by opening each bag and sewing the sides together to make a single large bag. This covered our entire tree and was still able to cinch it together on each side with the cord. There was some excess material which we were able to close by using pins and clips. Ultimately held up pretty well and finally prevented the squirrels from snatching the fruit and deterring them from getting into the tree. As a bonus it also kept the bees from the fruit and burrowing through the fruit.

I bought this to protect my ripening peaches from the birds. It worked perfectly! I got to eat my peaches this year instead of my birds! Just make sure you choose the right size.
