Works with a civilian headset! Everything I was finding was for a military headset which of course won’t work with a civilian set up. Glad I found this and will highly recommend.

Works very well with Baofeng and IS NOT for service radios. Civilian models just works.

I actually got two of these in the mail. I attempted to use both but they are wired wrong somehow. I use Peltor Comtac V and when this PTT is connected, the audio comes out the microphone. If it worked I’d keep it, the quality feels really good but it doesn’t work, internal is set up wrong.

Straight to the point nice PTT but it is in the civilian configuration and will not work with the military configuration which is why so many people leave bad reviews for the audio coming out of their mics.If this is the configuration you need definitely recommend it just unfortunately isn’t what I need and I wait so long to figure it out I also get to keep it as I’m out of the warranty period hahaha.

Bought this to work with my Earmor M32 headset. Enough cable to waist-mount the radio and chest mount the PTT switch on a chest harness or plate carrier. While the microphone works on the M32, the headphone leads are probably reversed and did not work. I was able to transmit but not hear anything.This PTT switch assembly is well-made and you can hear a distinctive click when you press the transmit button. Had to spend a little extra to find another unit to work with my setup unfortunately.
