I replaced a Wiseco in a KX65 after 107 hours of hard riding in my son's bike. I don't recommend that many hours, but the compression never changed, so I just kept running it. I just worry about metal fatigue from heat cycles. The old piston came out looking perfect. No measurable wear when I checked the ring-gap on old rings, zero signs of blow-by. I replaced it with another top end kit after I called Wiseco's customer service to ask some questions...Great customer service. I ended up replacing it with the same top end kit, PK1177.I know most people don't get that many hours out of a 65 top end. I use 32:1, Maxima K2 oil, clean air filters, proper jetting, warming the bike before riding and aggressive break-in works well for us. Thanks Wiseco.

Second ring groove was not manufactured correctly. The ring will not sit all the way in the groove because of this the piston will not fit into the cylinder.
