I really like that the unit comes with a fairly nice, zippered travel case. It really helps to keep everything together for portable use. I also really like that the antenna (all) unscrew and can be stored, rather than sticking out, just begging to be broken off. Lastly, on design, I really, really like that both units have integrated (standard) screw mounts for attaching to tripods. Photo type tripods, not included, are nearly ideal for use with these, in a portable application. It's super easy to set them up and start using them in just a few minutes and decent indicator lights.

We wanted a way to watch TV while in the hot tub and pool but didn't want to have to drag a TV and a laptop onto the deck when we were relaxing. Now, we only have to move the TV. This wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver exceeded all my expectations. Setup was truly plug-and-play - no complicated installation or software required. Within minutes, I had a crystal-clear 1080p signal streaming wirelessly to the TV on my deck with the laptop safely in the house. Oh, there was zero lag, as well. I can't speak for the supposed "1300 ft range", but I can tell you it works for about 50 feet through the exterior wall of the house. I wish they would have come with batteries, though. You can run them from a USB power bank or USB wall plug. If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality wireless HDMI solution, this is 100% worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to wirelessly stream audio and video.

Easy set up, good signal, great picture quality....this pretty much checks all the boxes for convenience and function, so that's a solid 5 stars in my book. I used this for an outdoor movie night, since we've been having an unusually warm winter here, and it was 57 degrees last weekend, even after dark. Depending on weather, I might do an outdoor movie as part of my upcoming Valentine's Day event next weekend. So, a few notes on my usage--first, I can't vouch for the 1300-foot range, since my setup was all pretty much withing about 100 feet, but the signal worked perfectly, no lag, no interruptions or degradation of picture quality. I would also say that it would be nice for them to include some short HDMI cables with this kit, since that is a required part of the setup. I used these in place of my old cables, which are 50 and 75 feet respectively, going from the laptop to the stereo receiver, then to the projector. But because this doesn't come with little cables, I still had to pack my big ones, which at least partially defeats the purpose of a device like this. Not a big deal, I'll just end up buying some short cables, but including them would make this set more comprehensive. The way we ended up setting up the system was with the laptop sitting next to the receiver using a cable, then using this wireless set between the receiver and projector, on a rear-projection screen. That eliminated the #1 tripping hazard in the technical space behind the screen. Now I just need to grab a couple of those large battery power banks to run the projector and sound system so I can eliminate the power cables as well as the noise from the generator. Then my outdoor movie nights will be complete. Until then, this HDMI transmitter set is a big step in the right direction.

This set works fantastically. I tested them out with a set of NP-F970's and they work great this way, because they're 100% wireless, except for the HDMI cable, which is of course necessary. They come with USB cables and power adapters to power them via USB C, if that's the way you want to go. As a photographer with a ton of Sony NP-F batteries lying around though, this is a natural choice for me.They come in a really nice semi-rigid case that zips securely and holds everything in place, mostly, though the antennas seem to like to wiggle out of their loops sometimes. I actually just put the antennas in the zippered part normally since I don't carry the power supplies in there anymore.Picture quality is excellent, with no degradation. It's not really aimed at gamers, though, maxing out at 30fps @ 4k. There is a very tiny lag if you're trying to use it with a computer and mouse, but it's not terrible. You probably don't want to game on it, though. There is nothing you notice when playing movies. My only complaint, and it's not worth a star really, is that it doesn't come with any HDMI cables. I wouldn't want or need full length cables, but a few "shorty" cables would be really nice, like 12". Amazon sells many short HDMI cables, I'm going to order a pair of short regular HDMI cables and a short mini-HDMI to go with these so I can use them when shooting video. If you intend to use these for anything like that, I recommend ordering them with these if you don't have them on hand.Luckily, they have 2x 1/4"-20 threaded inserts so you can mount it on your video rig in whatever configuration you'd like. Super, super nice. This will work really well for sending raw data back to a HDMI recorder or video mixer. There's not much to complain about, really. I'll have to spend $10 on a few cables, no big deal. And it'd be nice if they could get that frame rate up to at least 60hz @ 4k so gamers might start to take notice. 120-165hz would be even better. But, yeah, it's not really targeted towards that genre anyway. Maybe in a future product. The good stuff here is overwhelmingly good. For one, they just work. But they also have awesome capabilities for videographers, photographers, content producers, and the like, so it goes far beyond just something the home user can use to send movies out in the back yard. Especially with the 2x HDMI out on the Rx and the pass-through on the Tx. Those are very handy features for pros and home users alike! I had to give this 5 stars. Great product.
