(Purchased with Assisted Living Alert Pager set) My nonverbal, non-mobile, wheelchair bound brother and my 90yr mature mother live with me. I have been looking for a devise that would alert me when either of them are in need of assistance in the middle of the night, in the bathroom or just watching tv. Most baby monitors do not have the range, nor could I keep the volume on since they snore, loudly. We have a semi open floor plan but we also have steel beams running through our structure that cause interference for most products, I was expecting it not to work. This system is perfect for these concerns and for us, a longer range than quoted. Each of these products is expandable and able to integrate allowing for personalization, even more so than the product listing described. You are bound to find a ring tone out of 52 and a volume level (soft to loudest) that is not irritating. This devise looks great and is compact. Ease of pairing and installation, fabulous price point, WOW! No, I did not receive this product free and I was not paid for this review, just excited about the product. I am looking forward to adding a portable wireless caregiver monitor when available. Oh Yeah, I am certain it would be a great doorbell as well. My entire family is putting TWO THUMBS UP!

Why sell units overseas that do not fit the local power points or grid. Having an adaptor would make it sit too proud from the wall.

Pros: Comes with two receivers that chime and two actuators-door bell buttons. Each button activates both receivers and can be set to a different chime or tune. Wide variety of chimes and tunes. Very easy to set up. I didn't need it but the company provides links for help. Good range, one chime is 20 feet away and the other is 40 feet straight line on a basement floor. Good volume however I would like a really loud option for when I am in the shop with power equipment going. I chose a tune that lasts for about 8 seconds so it more noticeable than a single note. I love the fact is is expandable. The buttons screw onto the wall, I just can't get myself to trust two sided tape outdoors.Cons: I would have preferred AA or AAA batteries over the less common (but widely available one used) You can not customize the chime to your own tune or sound but with the price of the system this is expected. The tunes include a lot of cheesy holiday songs(but that could be fun too, if you are into that)Overall: great system, easy to set up

I've purchased a number of doorbell systems that were wireless and none are as good as this one, the range is fantastic! I purchased 2 units, one for the front ,and another for the side door, I placed the receivers one upstairs and the other in the finished basement. No problem ! various ringtones allow you to customise both the tone and volume of each bell . Installation was a snap, they provide 2 screws for each button but I opted to use a heavy duty double sided tape instead. They also send you a video on how to install, and set the buttons for each receiver, again 2 seconds and you're done no guessing !(and yes written instructions come with the product.Oh almost forgot you can program each receiver to work with multiple (door buttons) and set a different ringtone for each

We purchased this system to use as an emergency call button for my ailing parents. We needed a reliable way to alert people in rooms on the opposite end of a 1500sf home after realizing that shouting wasn't loud enough to reach the far end of the house. Since our family also lives next door, we wanted a wireless system with good range. This product really worked well for us.PROS:1. Amazing range: Signal strength was reliable enough to travel through walls, cabinets, appliances, etc. from one end of a 1500sf home to the other. It was also strong enough to be received on 2 floors in the home next door (through trees, brick, more walls and appliances, etc.).2. Easy to install: The receivers just plug into any outlet. The transmitters can be attached nearly anywhere.3. Expandable: After installing and testing this set, I purchased an extra receiver for next door. The extra receiver didn't need any programming - It was pretty much plug and play (see cons below).4. Options: Good volume strength and volume control (4 volume settings). TONS of chime options (50 sounds) (see cons below).CONS:1. The ease of adding additional receivers and transmitters could be a slight negative if your neighbors happen to have the same system. However, the frequency can be changed to mitigate this problem. Haven't had this issue so I don't know how easy or reliable this can be.2. If you start scrolling through the chime options, you'll have to cycle through all 50 sounds to get back to the beginning (no way to go backwards). However, you can reset the receiver by simply unplugging it (if you haven't set the chime to memory) or by performing a hard reset.VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS FOR SET UP:Found this very helpful video from SadoTech: youtu.be/phaWZZdk8jsSUMMARY:I highly recommend this system. The cons are minor and can be mitigated with programming. The range is incredible and out performs wireless intercom systems. This has been a life saver (literally) during emergencies. I am so thankful to have this system.

The ghost of Steve Jobs refused to allow me to give this doorbell system five stars even though I wanted to do so. It works beautifully well as far as "ringing" when the button is pushed by arriving guests. Mind you, our house is not big, so the distance is far less than the estimated maximums for the system. That said, because of thick brick and block walls, other systems used previously have been spotty (ringing sometimes, sometimes not). The first drawback is relatively minor: selecting a "ring" from the 52 stupid options. It would be this process that would have had Steve Jobs screaming in frustration... to have to cycle through each option one at a time, and not have the ability to go back one option if you happened to miss the one you wanted is just shy of insane. However, once completed, once a "ring" has been selected, the units operated beautifully. I purchased a separate battery operated receiver directly from the company. Nice to have the option of taking it into the back yard, or wherever, when you are expecting guests. Loudness settings (4) go from way too soft for my ears to waking up the dead loud. The second drawback is a little more annoying and long term (Steve Jobs would never have accepted this!): the plug-in-units block enough of the second receptacle that only a regular plug-on-a-wire can be used in it. The electrical plug blades stick out on the back of the receiver more-or-less one third the way down, and this partially blocks the second "plug" in any household receptacle.

Works as described. Range is terrific. I have one set out in the barn 100 yards from the house and the bells can be used between buildings. Setup isn't quite as easy as suggested, but some persistence and patience will eventually get you there. I wish there was a way to reset the sound to ringer 1 WITHOUT resetting the pairing. It would also be nice to be able to set the ringer tone directly with some tiny dip switches in the buttons. 50 tones is a lot to go through. However, setup is only a one time process and the results are everything I wanted at a very reasonable price, so I would definitely buy again and highly recommend these units to anyone who needs an expandable long range doorbell system.
