I love this. I wanted something my 1 year old could use, because I know she would want to go in the ice with us. She walked early, so by the time she was 1 and a half she was very stable already, and this was just what we needed. She loved it. It did fall once, but I don’t mind putting it back on, her feet are very small, that might be the reason. And because of her feel being small, the straps are a bit too long, but I was able to tuck it in, in a way that it didn’t interfere. I think it’s well made, and we used it a couple times already. This gives me peace of mind, that she can be part of the fun but be more stable on her feet. She fell only once, I think it did its job.

These Winter Toddler Ice Skates offer a promising introduction to the ice for little ones. The adjustable design is a definite plus, accommodating growing feet and extending the skates' lifespan. The hook and loop fastener straps make them easy to put on and take off, a bonus for impatient toddlers (and their parents!). The bright blue color is appealing to kids, making the experience more fun.However, the skates' construction feels somewhat basic. While they're fine for initial learning, I question their long-term durability, especially with frequent use. The materials aren't the most robust, and I wonder how they'll hold up against the wear and tear of a determined toddler. Also, while the double blades offer stability, they can limit maneuverability as kids progress. Overall, these skates are a decent starting point for toddlers exploring the ice, but be prepared to upgrade to something more substantial as their skills develop. They're a good value for occasional use, but serious young skaters will likely outgrow them quickly.

I'm not exactly sure what it is wether it was where the straps are located on the skate itself or what but our skates kept falling off our son's boots and we had them strapped on suffocatingly tight. SO, I'm not an engineer and there is DEFINITELY the possibility of user error, but they didn't come with instructions either so..I think this skate sounds better then it translates to in real life. There's some definite user experience flaws in motion (or not) here..so to speak. No pun intended.

My 2 y.o. daughter is unstoppable when it comes to ice skating. This works well for her age, we put them on her winter boots, it was a perfect fit.
