Thought it would soft enough to keep hitting but couldn't. Wouldn't recommend unless you just want rough skin and messed up joints.

I filled it with corn, works great. It’s rather small, so it can’t really be used for kicks, but it’s geat for training punches and iron palm.

This bag does not come pre-filled! So you are paying $20 for a piece of canvas. Prominent zipper on the back has no special sealing - sand may not be the best thing to fill this bag with. I'm concerned about zipper tearing open during use or being punched through the canvas - depending on mounting orientation. Was not expecting a zipper behind the target area. Avoid this product and get something else (like some high-density foam).

I use this wall pad for my Jeet kune do training and , I love it!!! I filled my wall pad with kidney beans and been punching it every day. Great for conditions your fist and knuckles.

I filled this with sand and strapped it to a makiwara post outside. I don't know how well it will hold up to weather, ( I realize it isn't exactly made to be outside) but I really like it.
