Set the table for religious holidays by using this inexpensive aluminum pan to bake a cross-shaped cake (or mold a gelatin dessert). The pan molds a cake in a beveled form for a 3-D effect that's more pleasing than a flat surface. Any two-layer cake mix fills the 15-by-12-by-2-inch mold, and the pan's packaging includes baking and decorating tips. --Fred Brack

I used this to make my grandson's baptism cake. It worked perfectly stacked on top of a 12x16x2 sheet cake. I used baking spray with flour to coat the pan and didn't have any problems removing the baked cake from the pan. Everyone loved the cake!

This cross cake pan is easy to use, clean and makes a beautiful cake.Removing the baked cake is very easy and does so with no problem. The cake pan itself is very lightweight, thin and delicate. It is easily bent out of shape. I’m sure it will last a long time as long as it is carefully stored and never dropped. The first pan I received was badly dented and misshapen from shipping. Amazon immediately sent me a replacement pan, with no hassle. This pan was perfect.I would buy again and recommend it to friends.

This is a great set that has everything you need except the cake mix. It only uses 1 box of cake mix. This is a super great deal for what is included and you can't beat Wilton quality. Makes a great cake for church pot luck, christening, or baptism.

Absolutely amazing cross pan. Pan is very strong and cakes bake evenly. Better than I expected. Highly recommend buying this pan . And very easy to clean. Just use warm water a little soap and soft sponge. I don’t recommend ever putting any cake pans or sheet pans in your dish washer

I'm VERY happy with this cake pan, I couldn't have asked for better results (as long as you THOROUGHLY grease & flour the pan it releases perfectly) I would've given 5 stars, but I was very disappointed in the packaging. The cake pan was put in a piece of thin plastic, put in the box and shipped with NO protection at all. Thankfully the only damage was a slight bend to the top hook. I guess past experience made me expect better from the Amazon

I love this cross cake pan. Don't understand the negative reviews. It arrived yesterday (4/19/18) and I used it to make a cake for a first communion. The pan edges were not sharp, the quality is spot on. I'm attaching photos of the cake I just baked and cut off the area that rose so it would lay flat when decorating. I used baker's joy nonstick spray. Highly recommend.

1 box of cake mix is all you need, baked well, released the cake easily with out any trouble at all. I used Pam Baking spray with it. I waited an hour after it came out I was able to flip it out of the pan. Need a cute first Communion topper? Use the chalice candy mold I wrote a review on. It's the perfect size. I'm not a cake artist by any means, but was able to easily make a First Communion cake, using this pan, and it turned out wonderfully. Only problem I found was that the instructions attached to it were in spanish, no English, so I had to kind of guess as to how many cake mixes to put in. I was making several other cakes, so I had plenty of batter and just filled it 3/4 of the way. Would purchase wilton product again!
