I'm not sure what happened, but when I baked the cake in the bunny mold the middle of the cake did not bake not sure why. Ended up making cake pops! I will try it again, next year.

With a pound cake like batter, I had to spear a couple of chop sticks from top of head through neck into body and it still fell over. Have made the lamb cakes for years Think I’ll stick ears on one of those next time I wanna make a bunny. I found this design too tall without enough width at the bottom.

when following the instruction, the cake batter does NOT fill to the Top of the cake mold as they say it will do, poorly made, should have been able to lock the two haves closed together and fill from the bottom where the feet are, then you can cut off what cooks over, tried three times and threw it out as I could NOT return it. WASTE OF MONEY

Unfortunately, I ordered this too late to use for Easter, but it looks just like the old Nordic ware pan that is used when I was a child. Looking forward to using it in the future. It is made of aluminum in case that’s important to anyone.

This pan worked very well! As other reviewers suggested, I put a small cast iron skillet on it to prevent overflow. I was happy with the ease of cleaning; actually, pleasantly surprised! I will definitely be using this to make an Easter cake.The quality definitely shows. I try to buy USA made, whenever possible.

I found most cakes are 3 cups of mixture. Don't be afraid to fill to level. You do need to use a mixture with a denser crumb, if you are making a boxed recipe and not from scratch use a pound cake mix. Otherwise just select a denser cake from your library, there is a recipe for chocolate that comes with it. If you frost it, the bunny goes from super cute to Frank from Donnie Darko...if you have to cover it maybe do a candy drip?
