Your cart is empty.Our 72-inch long barn beam mantel piece starts as a solid wooden log from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, which is then hand hewn down to a mantel shelf by our team of artisans. These unfinished beams undergo an extensive kiln-drying process that ensures the wood mantels are suitable for long-term indoor use, and free of moisture. Each one-of-a-kind, our individual mantel shelves may include holes, knots, and hand hewn marks, including unique chisel marks and differences in edgework. This natural mantel can be oiled or stained depending on your interior aesthetic, and will become an eye-catching centerpiece in any room. Add a barn beam mantel above a fireplace or mount on a wall as a shelf to display family photos, books, collectibles, flower arrangements, or other rustic home decor. Our American-made mantel is solid wood and may exceed 80 pounds; mounting should be done according to the wall construction (mounting hardware is NOT included). Product dimensions may vary slightly being that it is a natural wood product. This is wildly overpriced. Especially considering you have to buy separate tools to install it! Can get fairly equal mantles from other stores and local carpenters.. Just saying, I could definitely use $450 on something more useful than a hanging block of wood.
