Your cart is empty.This Front Load Washer Door Boot Seal is a part that safely contains the water in between the tub and the front panel of your dual front-load washer. Replacing this part may alleviate the issue if your current seal is damaged and leaking water. Overloading the washer is the most common cause of a damaged or torn door boot seal. Clamps are not included and need to be purchased separately. Easy to install with basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer, and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also, make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.

I was looking to replace my old washer boot and was very to happy to find this match on Amazon for a good price. The installation was tricky. There are YouTube Clips that can help along the way - but just be aware, it will be more difficult than changing a tire.

This boot fit my Whirlpool Duet washer perfectly. It seems to be at least as good of quality as the original.

The product is as advertised as an OEM bellows seal. It is very difficult to install as you have to remove the top and front of the washer to access the rear boot clamp. If you're like me and have a Maytag 2000 Series then look at the video on Youtube titled "How to Replace a Washer Boot on a Washing Machine - Start to Finish on a Maytag 2000 Series."The guy in the Youtube had trouble re-installing the front spring loaded clamp. Use your knee to hold the spring in place and then work around the boot to re-install it. You'll need a lot of force at the end to finish the install at the end of the loop. Your knee will keep the spring from popping out.
