This is a decent affordable wheel. Unfortunately, the rim strip (tape covering spokes inside the wheel to protect the inner tube) was not applied correctly on mine. It was folded which left an exposed sharp piece of metal. I went through 3x tubes all popping and leaving me stranded and having to walk my bike before figuring out that this wheel was the cause. So, I'm rating three stars because it was a headache for me and I wish I went with a more expensive wheel. That said, if you roll the dice and get a good one of these wheels with no issues its a great deal.

These are cheap wheels. All of the parts individually are fine in and of themselves. But, the assembly quality of a bicycle wheel really makes or breaks it. These are machine-built. But, they are built poorly. I've bought several wheels made by Wheel Master. All of them have had issues. I buy them because they are cheap and I can fix them myself. They are cheaper than I can buy the individual parts and build them from scratch myself; which is why I buy them.This one arrived with it a lot of lateral movement from side-to-side in several places. Spoke tension is pretty low. It's surprisingly concentrically round, which is a lot better situation to be in.Lateral truing can be done on the bike without needing a truing stand. But I'm going to put this on the stand anyway because it needs to be tensioned properly so it stays true once it gets ridden on. This wheel arrived so out of true that setting up the brakes would have been impossible. Is that unsafe? Yes. These could be so much better wheels if they would just build them better. Like I said, the parts themselves are fine, but the build quality really leaves a lot to be desired.Would I recommend these? Probably not, unless you're willing to do the work or pay someone to do it.I'm giving it 3 stars because the parts are good, but the build quality and truing nonsense really drops the rating. They are decently light and the Weinman ZAC-19 rim is actually a good rim. These also have a nice appearance. I like the black rim with the silver machined braking surface along with the black and silver rim label. It goes together the black spokes and silver nipples for a complete theme. I think the Shimano TX hubs are also good quality for this level. Straight gauge spokes and brass nipples are just industry standard pieces and nothing to write home about.

Nice wheel for the money. Seems pretty well made, 36 spokes, nice hub (ball and cone) great value 700c rear wheel. Not super light but straight and strong.

It came quickly, was true already and was easy to setup, but the only hiccup was the valve hole being drilled for Schrader valve whereas I was expecting Presta. Luckily I had a tube with Schrader valve lying around and made it work, but will need to get some valve converters to use my Presta tubes and have the same ones in both wheels.

I bought this with a front wheel. The wheel has 36 spokes so it is pretty sturdy. before It was shipped, I thought it could be heavier than my previous wheelset, but it was not. it is lighter than I think. the shipping weight was 2.72 kg, involving both of wheels. it's not only wheelset weight. it's shipping weight. it's very nice construction because it is made of wei zac 19 frame, 36 alloy spokes and shimano hub. it's pretty good wheelbuilding. My hybrid bike become easy to pedaling, it means I can run my pedal with full outer gear ( 4.36 gear ratio ) more easily.

After some spokes broke on the original rear wheel for my Giant Escape, I bought this wheel as a replacement. I did have to take my old wheel and this new wheel to a bike shop to have the rear cassette swapped over since I don't have the correct tools at home. The new wheel is performing great and the bike rides and shifts like new again.

Perfect - This was exactly what I was looking for!The wheel that I replaced came from a Giant Escape II XXL, and I couldn't get ANY info from the manufacturer or via the internet about manufacturer of the wheel or the exact specs. So I tried to match up the specs as best I could from what was on the wheel that I was replacing (Namely: ETRTO 622 x 19 - 700 C 36 Hole Rim. Oh Yeah, I also added the fact that the rim had to be Double-Walled). The Wheel Master replacement seemed to be what I needed, based on their website's description. It turns out that it was exactly what I needed.

sturdy wheel, runs true, haven't enough miles on it to say anything bad... performing as expected and at a great price. Additions: Been 22 months since I bought this wheel and a few thousand miles. It held up well until I flatted the rim a week ago catching a deep pothole during a group ride. My miss - not the wheel's. So, I bought another and switching out. It held true for the entire time with a little truing tune-up now and then. I can't say enough about this being a great wheel, especially at the price. And although I answered a question about whether it was sealed bearings (no) I now attach a couple pictures showing that it is indeed bearings, cones and races.
