Was perfect for my needs. Needed to purchase the arbor to drive this as a separate item. Worked very well. Note: do not try to rush while using this and will work better if you use some water with it.

It was larger than I expected, but does a great job. It requires an adapter which you need to buy separately. It makes cutting through concrete and pavers such an ease. I am installing lights and a drain hole for water to get through. It is built strong and the black color gives it extra you know... Will buy again if I need smaller size.

I needed to drill a 2-inch hole through the edge of our concrete floor in the garage to install a 1 1/2-inch drain for a back-flush filter which runs out under the sidewalk to a 55-gallon plastic drum. I don't have a core drill (that has a water hook-up) so, I had to pour water from a plastic jug on the bit as I drilled. To get the 45-degree angle I made a 2 hole through a 2 x 6 board. When I got a few inches into the concrete, the drill hung up and slapped the crap out of me. Plan B, build a 2 x 4 brace to hold the drill with a little help from a friend. It worked great. What I learned was to drill about 1-inch at a time, pulling the drill from the hole and removing the concrete core as needed, it helped it not to get hung up. I also needed a SDS Plus adapter to go from this core bit to my rotary drill motor. Works great, Be Patient and drill slowly.P.S. when it got hung-up, we used a pipe wrench to back it out.

I've done a bit of core drilling - it's not something I do every day. I do occasionally build / weld up steel gates, fencing and handrails that often require core drilling for the install. Usually the 3 to 4" diameter. This review is for the TEHify 2” Wet Drill Core Bits for Concrete and Hard MasonrySet up: TEHify 2” Core Bits, Bosch SDS Rotary Hammer (used on straight drill / no hammer), 1 1/4" to SDS adapter, template made with 2" hole saw in a piece of 1x pine, gallon jug water with pin holes to provide a slow flood. My rotary hammer has a max Rpm of 450 – I tried to keep trigger between ¾ and full.I drilled into a 3" concrete block laden with aggregate. If I had known there was so much rock in it I might have chose something else. Fortunately, other than slowing the drill down, the aggregate didn't present any problems for this TEHify Core Bit. With a lot of rock though, I have to say, it's a race for the tortoise not the hare. Diamonds were still lookin good after the cut - Nice Drill.Gotta say - 5 Stars for the TEHify 2” Core Bit.Thanks for Reading

After drilling over 30 holes in 5000 PSI concrete, 4 1/2 " still going strong! I’ve put them through some seriously tough material, and they haven't let me down once.
