Completely satisfied- shipped within hours of ordering, arrived within 1 day. The bars themselves are just amazing, look 10x better than factory bars, really give my warlock a mean aggressive look. perfectly packaged, exciting to receive a package like that, like it used to be, great product and packaging, did I mention the bars are phenomenal?

The fit was great. No need to drill or modify any of the brackets. They look great on my 2019 RAM 1500 Classic with blackout package.

The product is very nice and looks great on the truck but instructions were terrible and missing pieces really made the process frustrating. Our package came with the box half open and all of the bits and washers loose and scattered within the box .... wasn’t very impressed.

I was on the fence. On whether to go with the 4" Westin or pay $35.00 more for 5" Ionics on another website. I decided to order from Amazon. In case these didn't fit my 2017 Ram. As the 2017 Ram has threaded holes at the front driver and passenger side. I wasn't sure if the correct threaded bolts would come with this kit. Amazon has always been great with returns.They arrived fast. In the factory heavy duty box. Everything was packages / protected nicely. It took me about an hour to install. Other reviews have said they had to swap the rear brackets. I didn't have to do that. The last page of the directions has a pic that shows you where each individually labeled bracket should mount on your truck. I followed the direction that came with the Nerf bars.The difference I noticed between the directions and couple of Youtube videos. Is that the people on Youtube who installed these bars on their 2015 Dodge Ram. Installed the front brackets with the tab, that the actual Nerf Bars rest on, facing forward, towards the engine. While the directions tell you to have that tab. Facing the rear of the truck.The brackets that came with my kit, were labeled A, B and C. I saw on Youtube another reviewers brackets were labeled DR, DC, PF. Maybe we received different mounting kits?Westin directions that came with my kit. Says that the tab (the small piece of metal that the actual bar rests / bolted on) for the front and middle brackets should face the rear of the truck. While the back / rear driver and passenger side tab should face forward towards the engine. Maybe that's why people had to swap the rear brackets?Mounted on my truck, the bars felt solid. The finish looks great next to the black factory wheels and black accents. I was going more for looks than functionality. I can't compare how better these bars would help a vertically challenged individual enter and exit a truck. Vs. a 5" inch bar or a 4" bar from a different company. For around $180.00 shipped. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I put these on my 2016 Ram 1500 Sport crew cab. Instructions were a little goofy - but as others have said, once you figure out which bolts go where and get one bracket on - the rest are easy. No issues with reversing brackets or anything like that. Everything was labeled correctly, and, what really helped me was looking at the exploded view of the bars & brackets. Very quick & easy to know which bracket goes where. Put the front driver side on and then look at the picture for the rest.My only real complains:1. I had some scratches on 1 bar. Fortunately after I installed it, I couldn't find the scratch anymore, so it must be inboard.2. There is something loose & rattling inside the middle of that same bar. I tried to get whatever it was to shake out through one of the holes, but no dice. Stuck it on & will hope I never hear it while driving. I don't think I will.3. The bars don't line up "perfectly" front to back on both sides. One side is a little more forward than the other - maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Not noticeable to the eye, but when I measured, I saw the difference. I tried to loosen things up & get them both lined up equally, but no dice.4. These bars are tucked in a bit close to the truck. I'm sure I'll get used to them, but right now, I have to make a real conscious effort to step on them the right way or I'll slip off. Had I seen these in person or read this in other reviews, I may have opted for the 5" Traxx or even a different setup altogether. They are also close to the bottom of the truck - so when wearing big boots, you will kick your truck when getting in or out.5. The food pad on the front doors could stand to be placed rear a bit more. I find that I go partially on / partially off of the pad and step on the actual bar sometimes.I'm 6' tall. None of the above are deal breakers. Can't beat the cost & they look great & low profile on the truck. They will do the job just fine, but will take a bit more getting used to than with other step bars I've had on previous trucks.

I am really pleased with how these step bars look and perform. I have a 2015 Ram 1500 Express Crew Cab in Granite (dark gray). The Express has black door handles and mirrors and I think the black finish of these step bars match perfectly. I was a bit concerned they wouldn't look right with chrome wheels but again, I'm very happy. My wife mentioned they don't look like "old-man" step bars which I see as a complement.Several reviews mention the awful instructions and the need to swap the rear most brackets. These are NOT difficult to install. There are three things you need to remember for a smooth installation:1. Once you remove the bars and hardware from the box, inventory everything. Grouping washers, nuts and bolts and reconciling against the packing list will make the job exponentially easier. Not doing this in advance will increase frustration as the packing list is not illustrated and the easiest way to identify each piece of hardware is by counting them.2. One of the bars is wrapped in red bubble wrap - **this is the passenger side bar**. Remembering this will ensure you don't accidentally switch sides which will misalign the step pads with the doors.3. For proper alignment with the brackets, use a passenger side bracket on the rear most mounting position on the driver's side (by the bed). Do the same thing on the passenger's side. Doing this will ensure perfect alignment of the bracket holes and threaded inserts on the bottom of the bars.Other than that, just take your time. Once you figure out the first bracket, they all attach the same way, meaning you'll get more efficient as you go. It took me about two-hours from start to finish, including unpacking and inventorying everything. Tools required are a 16mm and 18mm deep-well socket - Westin includes an allen wrench for the step-bar to bracket bolts.
