It helps contributes to longer rope life by reducing load and bend over angle. Will not work with the Power Pivot or a Power Lift.

This pully setup works great but with the huge cost of Warn's ProVantage plow setup, and the known failures of the factory plastic lift pulley, this should have been offered free of charge by Warn. We are left to upgrade Warns gear, by filling their pockets further buying stuff like this.It does work very well, and slows down the lifting motion which I also like.

If you buy this kit, be aware that the bolts provided are not long enough to properly install this kit. The bolts need to be about a 1/2” longer. I even called Warn and was told that I was the first person to mention this and that they do not have longer bolts to provide me in order to properly install this kit. Customer service was subpar at best. Warn needs to recall this kit and replace the short bolts with bolts of proper length.

The supplied bolts are not long enough, (there the same size as the (2) bolts already in the plow mount). Does not come with (2) new nuts, have to reuse the old (2) nuts from your plow mount.NOTE: These bolts are M10 metric.... you will need bolts that are a 1/4" longer then what is already in your plow mount in order to secure this new bracket to your plow mount..... I hope this helps you guys.This is not the end of the world! Just know you will have to make at trip to the hardware store before you can install!

Product seems ok and was easy to install but I haven’t used it because I just bought it this April. I put it on a Warn standard blade.

Works perfectly on my plow setup. Has survived one full Colorado winter with no signs of wear so far. Gets the blade up nice and high without stressing the cable or pulley too much. Sure take a lot of the load off of my winch. Is definitely an improvement over the original design. Like others have said, Warn should include this with their plow but then they wouldn't sell as many replacement, burnt out winches I guess. Marketing 101.

I bought this after reading contradicting answers on if it'll work on my ProVantage front mount plow. There were no pictures of how this installs, so I was going in blind.Turns out this worked perfectly. It was an easy install, and works well. The plow blade does move much slower, which is a little frustrating when doing many short passes, but it most definitely makes the winch cable (or rope in my case) last longer. It also seems to give the plow better stability and lifting power.After our two feet of heavy snow the other week, the bracket that contains the plastic fairlead had broken at the welds. This item relocates and replaces the plastic fairlead with a metal pulley. I've attached pictures of the instructions so everyone can see how it installs. Hopefully this gives you an idea on fitment.

brackets too tight so I ground down the wheel centre pin width a bit in order to fit. Raising and lowering plow works smoother now. Like others have said, this should have been free with original Warn plow purchase as the original plastic roller and position was just too jerky and flimsy.

Adds some lift over the original design and wears the cable a bit less as well. Replaces a plastic part that, from what I've read, is prone to breaking. Easy install and it has survived a winter of plowing.

Allowed me to have much better lift range on my 2012 Sportsman 500. Since the winch is mounted low, you kind of need this extra pulley to allow you to life the blade high. I dont know how I would have rigged it other wise.To be clear, this is just an upgrade and not needed for a typical WARN plow mount, though most people agree its a very useful feature and most applications will see a big increase in lift height if they utilize this.

This kit works really well, with out the kit the 3000 lb. wench moves the plow up and down too fast and jerks the front of the atv too much. With the kit its more smooth and controllable and less strain on the cable.

This was very easy to install and works as advertised. I had the winch cable going straight to the plow base and after installing this it took a lot of pressure off my winch and raises the blade higher.
