Seems like a decent steel wear bar. Thicker than the bar that comes original equipment. The problem is that none of the pre-drilled holes line up at all with the Pioneer blade. I don't have drills or drill bits that can drill them so I had to take it to a metal shop to have them drill the holes for me.

This is a little less than twice the cost of original equipment blade edges but really does last at least 5 times longer which ends up saving me money and the time/hassel of unbolting and installing replacement edges. It is made of much better and heavier steel and comes with new fastners which is handy since they often take a beating and need replacement - and that would normally require a trip to the hardware store to find the correct type and size. And no, they do not scratch concrete driveways and sidewalks - they work on the same principle as the regular steel blades - a micro layer of snow crystals act as a lubricant.

I never leave a review unless a product impresses the hell out of me. This is one of those products. Material thickness is at least double of original JD product. Mounting holes and hardware were all perfect. Like the fact that we are supporting a small company from MN.

Installed on my old Deere 54" blade. The previous wear bar didn't last too long considering it's only used about once a year. This wear bar; however, is really made of something! Install was quick and easy and everything lined up perfectly. The included hardware is good quality as well. After using it once already to push about 6" of snow, I see no major wear on the bar, which tells me it will likely last quite some time.Very pleased with this product, Highly Recommended!

Did not come with enough bolts for the wings. You will have to reuse or purchase 4 more SS carriage bolts.
