Ordered this as a W10779716 replacement for my MER8674AB0. I've bought a similar aftermarket W10779716 on Amazon before, which fit. This one is too long (front to back) to fit, and the bracket on the front is not the right size. I'm sure it is the right size for some ovens, but if you are considering this one, while they don't have very good dimensions listed, the tell is the front bracket. Look at yours, make sure it looks like this. Mine (and most W10779716 replacements) has a much longer bracket. Sending it back, ordering a proper one.

I recently purchased the 316203301 316200600 Electric Range Broil Element, compatible with Frigidaire and Kenmore models like the CFEF302, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I received the part, it was clear that it was high-quality and exactly what I needed to replace the worn-out broil element in my oven.Performance:The element heats up quickly and evenly, restoring the broiling function to my oven just like new. It works as expected, producing a nice, even heat for perfect broiling every time.Ease of Installation:Installing the broil element was surprisingly easy. I’m not particularly handy, but with just a few basic tools (mainly a screwdriver), I was able to remove the old element and replace it with the new one in under 20 minutes. The instructions included were clear, and the part itself fit perfectly into my Frigidaire model. No complicated wiring or adjustments
