If your thinking about getting a new face cover, DON'T GET FABRIC!!! This face adaptor? has been a game changer, feels so much better then fabric ones, and wayy easier to clean. Just think of all the sweat and other build up that gets soaked into the fabric of other ones, brother ew...

This facial interface is a game changer. It fixes spots of light coming from the outside and it doesn't become unusable after months like the original included facial interface.

am i dumb or did it not say that the replacement would be pleather? 💀 good for dancing ig cus the sweat kinda just rolls off! but also def thicker than i think youd be used to if you put off replacing as long as i did (product is decent quality, the plastic of this is not def not as sturdy as the standard index face plate which accounts for the -1 shars!

Both are very comfortable gaskets, just bare in mind it felt slightly narrower than the origional so the gap under the nose was more prominant but it's not super noticeable.

I've had this for about a year and I just lost it during a move. I'm sure it'll turn up, but in the mean time I've been jamming a (clean) sock on the top of the stock eye gasket to keep the plastic from digging into my face.About to rip the whole house apart to find it. This is essential equipment for all Index owners.

Ive had my original index face mask for a few years and it was pretty worn out, wanted to try something new so I got this. While this face mask is comfy, I dont particularly like how the leather feels on my face as it can be sticky feeling and traps sweat. I ended up buying the original face gaskit again from steam as I much prefer the cloth feeling and padding. Im not upset having this as an option so I would say its a good choice if you really want the leather.

I actually bought this to use with my Index, and for that it works A-OK. After a few weeks, however, I got to thinking that the side wedges would sure be nice on the Vive Pro, with it's (in)famously ultra-wide fit (great for glasses, but I've always found it awfully tight in the middle and loose on the sides).Wow. The wedges completely changed the fit of the Vive Pro on my head, and even the thicker included foam interface, which fits the Vive Pro perfectly, was thin enough to allow me to adjust the lenses nearly as close to my eyes as I get with the Index. FOV looks right about halfway between the original Vive and the Index. I did have to trim back the nose piece about 1/4" with an x-acto blade, which made me a bit nervous, but the end result is a vastly more comfortable headset with a much improved FOV. 5 stars.

With how much hype VRCover gets for their products and how often I hear people go on about how nice and comfortable they are, I was a bit disappointed when this arrived. I'll preface this by noting I bought this over just replacing my original facial interface from Valve as the glue had started wearing off on mine. The plastic bracket the pad fits to is great, fits just like the original, and it all even comes in a cute little custom-shaped takeaway container, which is a nice touch and should do plenty to prevent damage in transit, but the pads themselves are where I felt let down. The difference in thickness and fit between the two of them is minimal, but they're comfortable enough and do seem to block more light. What really got to me though was that as far as I can tell, these aren't fitted to the various headsets they're sold for at all. I'm guessing they're standardized across all of them for ease of manufacturing, so when you attach the padding to the insert, it's overlapping on basically all sides and very difficult to get a nice, even symmetrical placement and fit. Now that would be a cool trade-off since it means when the pads eventually wear out and the PU leather cracks and flakes off (as PU leather always does), you could just buy a new pad a la carte to replace it, but VRCover doesn't sell just the PU pads, you have to buy the whole kit over again for another $40, meaning you'll have another facial interface bracket collecting dust (and another PU pad of whichever size you lease prefer). The end takeaway for me is, for $40 and with no a la carte pads to buy, this is kinda a rip-off. Memory foam isn't exactly the magical cutting-edge material it was 20 years ago, PU leather is... well... not real leather and nowhere near as durable, and the rest is a bit of plastic and some magnets. I would've rather paid Valve the same price for an original interface or gone with VRCover's $20 cloth wrap-over cover.

Good Comfort, No longer has the issues the Oculus one had where the replaceable cover would rub on your noise and become uncomfortable, It also attaches to the HMD very well it does not become detached the magnets seem to be decently strong.
