VFS2A Specs

Added this to provide a little more on off control over the tremolo and reverb on my AC15C1, works great.I did swap out the supplied cable for a 90 degree for a better fit at the back of the amp to keep it near the wall. But supplied cable works perfectly fine.

So I was a cheapass and didn't want to pay the $50 for this... so I bought a 17$ amazon footswitch that said it works with AC30... Doesn't. Then tried a $19 one... then a $25 on... I don't think anything will work with the AC30 except this one.... So just pay the $50 and call it a day, makes playing the AC30 such a better experience. Also buy an ABY pedal and don't skimp on it either, then you can go from clean to boost.... or clean and boost at the same time. While I am at it - to make the AC30 your ultimate AMP! - grab an old skool crybaby wah... and the following from Analogman - Beano Boost (THIS ONE IS THE MUST- ITS A DALLAS RANGEMASTER COPY AND USED BY BRIAN MAY AND ERIC CLAPTON and others), Fuzz, and chorus. That is all you need for this amp. Run the fuzz and chorus thru the fx loop. The front go Guitars to beano boost to wah to ABY switch. DONE! YOU NOW HAVE THE GREATEST AMP AND FOOTPEDAL SETUP IN HISTORY

Useable, robust and as good as any other amp foot switch I have used. Good value for money and came as described. Pedal size was not a concern for me, though it is much bigger than my Fender foot switch. I would buy it again if the situation arose.

I'm using this with the Night Train 15W 1x12 combo. Left switch switches between girth and regular channel. Right switch turns the bright setting on/off on the regular channel. Works perfectly. With the Night Train, I don't need an external overdrive pedal at all. The built-in LEDs indicate what setting you're on, too. This switch probably costs a little more than the generic ones, but I like that it's perfectly matched to the amp and works without any mods.

Works great with my AC15CC1. Bought it mostly to be able to turn Tremelo on/off since I usually leave the Reverb around 3. I used some blue painters tape with 'T' and 'R' to remember what switch does what. Reverb is on the right (r=r is an easy way to remember). The build quality is very high and the lights are bright. Seems way beefier than Fender amp channel selectors. Comes with a nice cable, too.

Size, profile and weight are perfect. Thin soft rubber pad on the the bottom keeps it in place and the switches gently "click" so that you can feel and hear them as you use them. LEDs light perfectly too. I am using this with my Ampeg SVT-7 Pro to control effects and mute.

This footswitch is fantastic! Kicks the Gain into the Clean channel, or kicks the whole thing into overdrive. Love it! I was at first afraid the buttons would click too loudly --- they're very solidly constructed --- but that turned out to be a non-issue in a live performance setting. Highly recommended if you have a switchable Vox amp!
