Terrible product. Couldn't get compressor to turn off by the pressure switch, then the compressor quit building pressure all together. Air line kept blowing off the horn solenoid because there wasn't a compression nut included for the horn. Fittings were all metric threads but brass compression fittings only come in npt. Spend a little more money and get a better kit.

Got these for Father's Day and I love them. For the money they are great. They are very loud and get the attention of anyone near by. You will need some wire to run power to compressor and switch and possibly some longer air hose depending on how close you mount the horns to the compressor and tank. I mounted mine next to each other and didn't require more hose. They supply you with about 3-4ft of air hose. Nice and compact, I was able to fit both horns and compressor/tank behind front bumper of my 2010 ram sport. Best Father's Day gift ever.

I bought the cheapest version. About $150. Straight black. Haven't installed it yet, but it looks good, no problems. At first thought the horns were made of plastic when I opened it, but they obviously are not. Really strong material. I bought 10 gauge wire, 16 gauge wire, and a switch for the compressor (don't recall the amps, but I believe around 12-15). Instructions aren't fully clear, you just need someone who know exactly what they're doing so you don't mess up. Luckily I have a friend who can install it. I recommend these though. Doesn't include everything you need, but it's just a few extra bucks to put into it.Update: All installed. Needed to get longer tubing. Tank is in truck bed. Horn is mounted on frame behind the grille. I'd say it was pretty loud. Definitely sounded like a train right in front of you. I don't plan on being outside and hitting the button again. Think I'll leave this to be a horn not to use in residential areas. Also, I noticed some pictures of this have a 90 degree elbow connector on the tank hose output. It does not have that. It's just a bolt that fits over the hose. Those elbows do seem reliable based on reviews and are easy to find. I think they're in the "customers also viewed" section.

All in all the Horn set up works as advertised. Although it did take me awhile to find the right location. I had to separate them into two different horn packages off the beefy angle iron support to mount them in front of my radiator. If you decide to separate the horns as I have then you will have to by more of the larger diameter tubing as the kit only comes with the tubing that connects the horn to the tank. I then mounted the air compressor inside my bumper where a winch is suppose to go. I also installed an on off switch for the tank compressor just as a precaution for the pressure switches failing and or just to turn the compressor off when not needed. I didn't car for the cheesey horn push button that comes with the kit so I ordered a better looking push button to mount to the right of my steering wheel. I will take pictures as soon as I get all of the dead butterfly carcases off the front of my truck. I have not measured the actual DB of the horn but it is very loud and sounds just like a train, so I am happy.

Love the setup! It took me a lil less than 20 minutes to install but this isn't my first set of horns. I paid the same price for another set a few years ago but after a year the diaphragms rusted out and they weren't even in a spot to get wet but these are definitely built better and the horns unscrew from the diaphragm enclosure for easier cleaning super loud I used my dB meter and they are louder than advertised I read them at about 165 dB and the tank is nice and compact and fits perfectly behind the seat of my single cab Sierra and is more quiet than the last one over all great quality!!!
