I'm getting too old for 6 ton and even 1.5 ton come along hoists. In my elder state this was an ideal tool for me. My criteria is: if I can't pick it up and carry it, I can't use it. This thing works for me. I wish there was a version with more chain but then that would add weight too. You young guys out there, take care of yourselves and work SAFELY.

The one I received doesn’t hold loads regularly. I use it at 1/2 to 3/4 capacity and it generally does not hold. I usually have to hold the handle in place to keep my load from dropping.
