Nice mantle, looks just like the photo. Installed easily. It didn’t come with covers to hide the top screws which would have been helpful.

Ordered on the Wed arrived on the Saturday so very quick delivery. Product superbly packaged so no worry about it being damaged in transit. The shelf itself is a beautiful dark rustic colour sanded and waxed to an extremely high standard and looks such high quality which is amazing for the the price. Took literally 5 minute to install and looks amazing,So glad we bought this to totally bring to life our boring chimney breast.

This wood mantle is great, it’s a good weight, easy to hang, very sturdy and well made. Looks super fitted and made of quality thick wood. Looks more expensive than it cost and really stands out. Thank you Amazon.

I am using this product for my fireplace mantel. Currently covering the fireplace with ledgerstone. The mantel looks really great and the quality is excellent! Will look so good when I'm done with the project.

I’ve been wanting a mantle for 21 years. I never thought about buying a pre made one. I took a chance on this one and I just want to say, it’s very well made. It was easy enough to install by myself. I did have my husband help hold it when putting in the final screws. The wood grain is perfect! I think the only improvement I could suggest (which another reviewer stated) they really do need to included the wood plugs for the holes on top of the mantle. I’m waiting to see how it does with the heat. I read some mantles have a protective coating applied so the heat won’t ruin the wood. This one didn’t say it had any. Time will tell. Mine is mounted above a wood stove insert and it throws a lot of heat. I’m hoping for the best. So far it’s perfect!

Real wood as the description states. Consistent color in the stain. Well constructed, easy to install. Only critique: they could include plugs for the screw holes as it mounts from the top. We’ll use a stun pen to touch up a bit around the inside edges of those screw holes and probably never be noticed.

This would have been the perfect mantle if not for the footlong scratch on the left front. I returned it and asked for a replacement. I received the new mantle and it had the exact same scratch. I believe there is a manufacturing defect. I do not recommend. I ordered a different mantle from a different manufacturer and it arrived in perfect condition.
