Are these filters treated with magic unicorn dust to keep them from needing to be replaced at regular intervals? NOAre they well priced? YESAre they quality? YESCan you do better? Probably notConclusion: if you know they’ll fit, I’d buy them and be done with it.

I bought these after being unimpressed with the honeywell filters. These filters have held up about 1.5x as long and don't seem to be breaking down much by the time I replace them (replacing them after a month). The bagged packaging is also minimal which is a good thing, since Amazon puts them in a box when they ship them (so no need for a box in a box like the honeywell filters). I will probably buy again when I start to run low.Update after using them I have found that although they work, I don't know if they are as effective as the originals. They also also not much more expensive than when I purchased, so I don't think they are a good value anymore.

I had a little hesitation when ordering these since I thought they may end up not being very good filters. However, I received 6 individually wrapped filters (you don't have to worry about the others getting moldy or dirty), they fit perfectly in my MCM-350 humidifier, and as far as I can tell, they function (able to humidify the air) just like the manufacturer's original filter. I used the original filter for about 4 months, almost every day and 24 hours/day. They got dry several times when I forgot to refill the water, but soaking them in water, and flipping the filter over, kept it usable for all 4 months. I finally decided it was time to get a new filter and so I purchased these, and I'm glad I did since they were almost 1/4 the cost of a manufacturer's filter. If these don't last as long as the original filter, I'll update this post.
