This bike stand is well built and well thought out. Super easy to install. Well with the money. The stand is constructed of mostly metal which makes it very stable.

Looks a solid product but does not come with installation instructions. What size holes should I drill for the included wall plugs?

I'm truly happy with this stand after a horrible experience of wasted time and money on a competing orange wall mounted repair stand purchased and returned here on Amazon. This stand is very rugged and not flexy like the previous stand and this has almost all metal parts by comparison. It's easy to use, adjust, and rotate with the included bike style quick release skewers and handles my not-so-light vintage bicycles with ease and a good stable grip to work around.I was a very confused when deciding on this and reading some of the reviews that complained of having to re-engineer parts of it, or mount a piece of wood base on the wall to space the stand mounting plate out a little further from the wall so that the section of tube that is on the horizontal plane will clear the wall when turning it rotating the stand (supposedly because that end of the tube is quite long and extends a half inch beyond the baseplate when installled. which it in fact would) until I got the stand in hand to look at.All you do is remove the tube from the assembly as delivered and flip it around and reinsert it into the round support sleeve that it clamps into. That leaves the shorter end of that tube from it's center pointed toward the wall and the longer end pointed outward and thus does not overhang beyond the mounting base. No mods are needed and no added wood spacer beneath vertical metal mounting plate.

I went to Home Depot to get a 6x18 piece of word for added security then I bolted bike stand to it. This wall stand is very secure and made of metal. No flimsy parts and holds bike securely. Seems like a bargain compared to Park Tools bike stand. Easy to move to side when not in use. I definitely recommendI just read a review where the person said there was a design flaw in that the tube extended beyond the base which thus made it necessary to make some adjustments. I looked at his picture and in fact he had the upper piece inserted in the wrong direction. You don’t need to add an additional piece of wood to allow the wall mount to work properly. I added the wood just to secure it to two studs for additional support. Make sure you insert the bike support tube in the correct end.

This is a high quality stand made almost entirely of metal. I have had my share of cheap plastic infused stands that break just after the return window. It gives you a good quality feeling when you put it together and to have a sturdy repair stand when you are working on the bike. Here is what I used to mount the repair stand to the garage wall in my apartment complex.1) 1x of "project lumber" 2x6-4 purchased from lowes.2) 2 x 3/8 flat washers3) 2 x 3/8 lock washers4) 2 x 3/8 - 4" lag screws [ you can use smaller if you are mounting directly to wood ]Total mounting hardware cost was $10. I drove 5/16th holes into the studs and mounted the lumber. Then mounted the back plate of the stand to the lumber with the supplied screws. Too me 20 mins(cause I screwed up the first time). I tested it with the heaviest bike I had (approx. 30 lbs) and felt pretty stable. I will try with my road bike clamped at the seat post later to make sure it can work reliably. Wish they made a portable stand for the same kit. So when away from home, leave the wall mount behind but take the rest.

I'm an avid cyclist, and like to do my own bike maintenance. Searched for a sturdy bike stand, noting would meet my expectations. A friend of mine had install on his garage a Park Tools. It was way to expensive for me. Found the Venzo Bike Bicycle Wall Mount Repair Stand for a great price. So I purchased it and installed it on my garage. It comes with mounting screws, that are to small to handle the weight, so I installed it with some bigger screws (1/4").So now I can perform maintenance to my bikes and my kids bikes.Excellent product, easy to install, easy to use, very sturdy, it has a plastic cover on the bike grip and it even has slots on it so it doesn't press the cables while working on your bike.

I have had this rack for about a month and have used it about half a dozen times to work on my new mountain bike. The bike weighs in at just under 30 pounds. So far I really like the rack. Feels sturdy and it's made mostly of metal. It holds my bike steady and it has a lot of adjust ability as far as where and how you can clamp your bike (seat post / top tube). I don't have any complaints at this point. Some people commented that the rear of the clamp arm doesn't clear the wall when the rack is mounted to the wall, which was true when mine arrived. Simple solution was to loosen the two top levers and remove the tube with the jaws. Then rotate the tube with the two levers 180 degrees and reinsert the jaws tube into what was the end that was contacting the wall. Works perfect and does not contact the wall, with no other functional difference or difference in clamping power.
