This is a kickstand that clamps to the rear part of the frame. Install was simple enough. What concerned me about the install is that on my bike, a hydraulic brake line runs along the frame. The Kickstand clamp would have to go over that line so I didn't want to tighten the clamp too much for fear of crushing the hydraulic line. Maybe there is another way to mount it.Quality looks ok. The kickstand spring seems strong and the mechanism works smoothly.Even though I don't see anything wrong ith th kickstand it appears to be too short for my bike My bike wheels are 700c. This kickstand is designed for tires 28 inch max. I guess 700c tires are bigger than that (I'm new to bikes). It works but the bike leans too much, even on the longest setting.
