I'm looking to install a back up camera on my Scion XB and wanted to try something like this to avoid drilling into the body. The camera I have mounts perfectly onto the frame and still allows the frame to extend up enough to avoid obscuring any of the plate information. The camera does end up blocking the center of the hatch release, but you can still get around it easily. Overall, very happy with the fit of this!

This camera holder is somewhat weak overall, but it includes all the necessary accessories to mount a rear camera without drilling holes or installing screws on your car's body.

I bought this bracket to allow for my Alpine HCE-C2600FD Multi-View Front HDR Camera to be easily mounted to my license plate. The camera DOES NOT FIT to this bracket out of the box... However, by unscrewing the mount on the bracket, bending out the bracket on the brace with pliers and flattening it with a hammer, the bracket holes lined up perfectly with the alpine mount... It fits really well for my needs. See photos for how this turned out. Hope this helps as I did not find another solution for under $60 bucks.

I got my wife a dashcam mirror and it came with a reverse camera. I had originally mounted the camera with the included double-sided tape but that eventually came loose and the camera was then just flopping around on the rear of the car. I didn't want to create holes in her car to screw it in. In comes this little gem. I just removed the license plate and slid this mount in behind it and reattached it to the car. Now I can attach the camera to this mount and problem solved. Camera is securely mounted again and no worries about it falling off and flopping around. It was very quick and easy to install and fit the holes for the license plate perfectly. Highly recommend.

The main reason I ordered this license plate backup camera mounting bracket is the Stainless-Steel material used. There are many similar-looking brackets are on the market, but they don’t claim it’s made of Stainless Steel. Obviously, this kind of bracket is subject to all kinds of weather, therefore durability and the longevity is a very important factor.It’s made solid and of good quality and the package comes with all the hardware necessary to mount the bracket except the backup camera itself. There’s a bit of fumbling to mount a camera on this plate because the screws are tiny and the screw drive is not magnetic.This bracket is designed for U.S. standard license plates mounting holes, therefore there is no need to drill holes on the car. The slotted holes on this bracket enables the backup camera at the appropriate height adjustment. The adjustable angle camera mounting bracket fits most of backup cameras on the market. The tilt angle of the camera can be adjusted by the two screws on the camera mounting bracket.This mounting bracket is a solid performer and the price is very competitive or better than others.
