Will not work for Chevy small block heads without heavy modification. And still at this point I'm assuming it will work. I still need to go buy a very skinny threaded nut. So if you're building a Chevy small block don't waste your time

So much easier then having to removed all the rocker arms and rail. Doing valve seals on my ls with the heads on the engine. My only "complaint" is there isn't a lot of room in between the forks to get your fingers in there to replace the valve locks.Especially working around the ratchet or power bar you're using.I may hog some of the aluminum out at the bottom of the "fork" and see if that helps.

Great little tool. Easy to use. Just a bit of advise, use the bolt from the lifter it will make it work a lot better!

Worked perfectly and took about 25 minutes to do all the springs on a head. DON'T waste your time buying the compressor to do 2 springs at once, they bind up and waste your time. This is quick press on and off using a 3/8 ratchet or breaker bar.I am sure after a few hundred springs with the tool, the aluminum would wear enough to be an issue, but for the price, that is a dumb thing to complain about. If you struggle putting the keepers back on, use a small magnet to pull them and place them, which is way easier anyways.

Tool is nice and makes valve spring changes a breeze! The bolts that come with it are very cheap feeling and I was afraid to use them so I just used the engines rocker bolt

Works like a charm. Bought this after the single bolt dual spring compressors that are the most common failed from the spring pressure.

Professional mechanic and I thought it worked great. I can see that i am going to wear the tips off due to it being aluminum. I used an old rocker arm bolt instead of the supplied ones but that was personal preference

By far the easiest to use. It even works on the Gen V LTx heads. Unfortunately for the LS3 style intake valves, Texas speed is the only one to offer this style in a kit for both valves. But his is perfect for cathedral ports and Gev V. It's much faster than the $5,000 one I use at the machine shop.

the gap in between is terrible no room to insert keepers, the tool is sloppy it self does not work smoothly
