Easy to use, can't attest durability. I hope I never need to use it again but now I have it if I do.

Overall good product. One issue they need to put something on the end of the clap that pushes on the valve!! Cause it’s just almost a pointed end stud pressing and turning into the surface of the valve. Other than that it worked great

Did exactly what it was supposed to. Would recommend for use on valve spring removal.

Don't have high expectations on this. Contrary to the sturdy design they cite, the opposing ends do not line up with each other. Ended up using a piece of wood on the valve head side with some bar clamps to hold it on. Stuffed some used nitrile gloves underneath to hold the valve in place when depressing the spring. The pieces are poorly threaded and tend to wobble around or 'walk' when turning.. Takes a lot of patience to hold things in place and depress the springs without causing damage.. The small piece to tighten the screw is useless as it just drops out and I used a smalls screwdriver instead. Probably the only thing that may make this better than the other junk in the same price range is the valve stem seal removal tool that is included as that was indeed handy... So far I have the valves out and have not yet tried to install the new ones yet.. Used it on a jetta 2.0 AEG engine. This is not a tool for someone who frequently does this type of work.

Bought this as a supplemental tool for an engines class in high school. My students took a little time to figure it out, but its been holding up well. It has worked on 6 various engines that are overhead cam. Few of these engines have recessed springs but tools wide base offered enough room to install keepers. One engine had dual springs but this tool didn't bend/warp which I was afraid of. I'll be keeping this for professional use once classes are finished. Good tool just have to use it correctly and take your time. Thanks

Unbelievable price for a great product. Used to rebuild heads on Chevrolet 5.3. Selected one of the adapters, which were perfect fit for the spring hat. Corse threads on the tool make for quick compression of spring and adapter opening gave plenty of room to remove retainers. Solid body with no flex. Seal removal tool sturdy with no bending of the handle, even with pressure to grip. Made removing springs a quick, simple project. Would recommend
