This tool worked great to compress valve springs. Definitely recommend it. Used on Honda Accord k24 engine.

The tool worked great in upgrading my retainers to AP2. Idk how it is on other cars but on the s2000 , some grinding on the back side of the tool is needed since I couldn’t line up the bolts. But other other that, it’s great!

Great tool that works very well In all areas except 2 that us #1 exhaust and #2 intake. On #1 exhaust the vct oil control solenoid would need removed the bracket is in the way. On #2 intake the casted thread boss to the injector cover bracket is in the way. Luckily I had ordered the other bar over valve removal tool which works great. This tool I liked because it is a third hand in removing and replacing the keepers. The proper lubrication i used was N5000 nicklenever size not one issue in bolt binding or galling on the tool. Otherwise a very good tool to have. I would recommend the mfr to cut a window in the tool to fit these areas that impead the tool fitting.

This is as used to replace valve retainers in my s2000. It works, but doesn’t fit in many of the spots needed with the head on the engine. The threads are not the best quality, so I don’t expect this to last more than one job, even though I generously greased the threads.

Great little tool for replacing valve retainers or springs on an S2000. I used it on both F22c and F20c and it worked great. I had the head already off which was easier, where as some say you need to grind one side to clear the intake manifold if the head is still on the engine. ***TIPS AND TRICKS*** Push the tool toward the valves before tightening down to make sure it lines up 100% and also the bolts that hold the tool to the head, they barely have to be tighten because the threaded hole they use are known for stripping the cam cap bolts so just barely tighten so it doesn't move with a 1/4 Drive and Socket.

Not sure how else you will get your K series valve springs off at home..this tool made it so easy!! My first time ever disassembling a head and this made it so easy it took me maybe 20 minutes to have all 16 of the springs & valves removed. Highly recommended. 👍
