  • Tips: Machine taps are suggested to be used with tap collets with overload protection. Hand use is easy to cause breakage to the tap due to uneven force. Suitable lubricating oil should be added to the cutting edge of dies and taps when tapping.

Truly impressed with the quality of this tap and die set. I was replacing a steering gear box and the threads were not clean, which I realized too late, as I had already stretched the threads on the bolts with my impact wrench. These items cleaned the problem up without and issues.
