Micro Drill Bit for PCB, Acrylic, Plastics

Tungsten Carbide Tip

Made from ultra-fine grain carbide material for precise and easy experience, high hardness, good toughness, wear resistance, high strength, resistance to bending.

Spiral Flute Bits

Sharp cutting edge provides smooth cutting, reduces cutting force, prevents drill broken, and improves the drilling accuracy. Spiral chip space design for fast and clean chip removal.

High Precision

With sharp cutting edge, milling groove and clean surface. PCB drill bits have good milling and cutting performance. Can work quickly and cleanly, no glitches or scrap left.

Features

  • Can ensure high work efficiency.
  • Carbide can run at higher speed than high-speed steel.
  • High speed steel shank provide high hardness and good toughness for wear resistance.

Wide Applications

Suitable for drilling and engraving PCB, acrylic, plastics, fiberglass, wood, aluminium, soft metals. Used on PCB drilling machines, engraving machine, CNC lathes, machining center.

Carbide PCB Drill Bits replace your CNC machines and any hand held tool. Large drill bit chip space, chip resistance, chip smooth, small drilling heat.

Tips

The drill bits are too tiny, so it is very fragile for handling. Use vertically and take good control of your CNC speed.

The longer the length of the tool clamped by the chuck, the better. If the clamping length is shorter, you need to lower the feed rate and cutting speed to reduce vibration and extend the tool life.

Combined with the material to be processed, select an appropriate feed rate and cutting speed to improve the tool life and obtain better processing accuracy and performance.

Was very gently using one and going straight in and it snapped off.

used to drill into a plastic model. dull after 20 holes. not hard steel.

I used my rotary tool with the smallest bit an I expected a breakage; however, to my surprise, the bit went straight through 3mm of copper while I held my flex shaft tool steady, guide by a guide punch. The result was a nice clean hole and no overheating. Make sure to use a live such as Pepe Lube, Burr Life or the like.

I used it on an assortment of material ranging from Plastics to Brass Metals. I was worried with a few reviews saying that the drill bit will break off. So I decided to invest in a cheap drill press. The drill press keeps the drilling angle consistent unlike using a dremel or power drill angles which I think may lead to higher rates of bits breakage. Overall, well made drill bits. I have no complaints.

They are only good for a few holes before breaking . I only use them for plastic models and use them by hand , no dremel . After drilling a few holes by hand , you can count on them to break . The smaller the bit , the less holes it will drill before breaking . They work well but are very fragile .
