Impressed with how well they drill through cast iron and hard steel

The case looks cheap but these are serious drillbits. After drilling the 11/64 bit into the end of a threaded rod about an inch and a half deep, it's still as sharp as any of the others and would easily do it again. If your bits are getting dull when you drill steel, you're either running them too fast or not keeping oil on the bit.

Will break first time drilling in wood. Metal works great but I broke a handful before I decided to stop using and use cheaper bits for wood and this for metal.

This set worked well drilling new holes through a large stainless steel bracket for a security camera mount. I bought it for this purpose, and they drilled the holes with ease. They seem like high quality, sturdy bits, and the case that comes with them is pretty solid. Should last quite awhile!

In the past 40-50 years I've bought name brand drill bits from the big box stores, as well as bits from a local aircraft tool supply company. None performed the way they should and some were pure junk. I'm just using them in a battery drill and not a drill press or very often, so it's not like I'm wearing them out. The final straw was with brand new bits from Bosch and DeWalt (2 different sets) that wouldn't drill through mild steel garden edging.I threw them all away in frustration and went looking for a better quality bit, not expecting much better results. What a pleasant surprise it was to find these Toolant bits. I have used one 1/8" bit at least a dozen times on 1/8" thick steel garden edging and square steel fence post. The bit cut as good on the last post as it did the first....I'm not used to this kind of performance. These are winners!Just saying, they may be a little more expensive than what you pay in the big box stores selling name brand bits, but these Toolant bits will last a long time. You get what your pay for and these drill bits are a real value for the money.

I never leave reviews but I bought this bits to install my fence boxes and needed to drill through the box and pipe behind it, the bits I bought at the hardware store took forever to drill through the pipe and drained the drill battery, I got this to try them and the drilled through the wood and pipe like butter, not only that I had to drill through quite a few of this and 4 holes per post and the drills were intact after. Great product!! made my job fast and easy

Bought these to drill out some thick stainless plate. Worked great for that. Better than expected. Used tap magic, went slow, took breaks, and cleared cut metal. Was impressed at that point. Then I went to drill some holes through thick cured hard resin. Strange, the bit broke in three pieces. Luckily it had almost made it through the resin and I was able to knock the bit out from the other side otherwise I'd have been in a real predicament. Great for metal, don't use drilling resin.
