I'm grateful it was the right size for the purpose I needed it for it. I'm also grateful I had something to cover up the rods with so it wasn't obvious the issues I was faced with with the rods. The rods are Acrylic... Acrylic is supposed to be clear as glass. These rods come in a box and are individually wrapped in plastic. Under the plastic wrap on each rod is a layer of impossible tape to remove unless you really pick at it. I found myself trying to just get 4 simple CLEAR Acrylic rods before I decided to try something different and just covered up the rods instead. It's ridiculous and unncessary for the rods to be covered in multiple layers of thin tape. The Acrylic isn't clear at that point but it's full of defects.

I like the clear acrylic. I didn’t like the way the item was cut. The cut is uneven and cracked. I was disappointed about that. However, if cut evenly it is a good product.
