I used this to switch from a toggle to a rotary switch in a Gibson explorer. Even with limited soldering experience this was an easy and perfect solution.

the product is shorting (make before break) so it's suitable forselecting audio inputs. I would order again

Right now am only using two out of three positions. I tested all positions with a meter before I installed it. Works great. Wish it came with a knob. I made my own. And the resistance is very low, about .3 ohm across each closed terminal of the switch - As it should be. Surprisingly, I have tested other switches, made by another company (from the other side of the globe) and those measured 20-200 ohms across a closed terminal! Obviously no quality control there. But back to this switch. No such problems here. I am happy with it.
