I used this rail adapter on an 11 mm air rifle dovetail. The rail came with a spreader bolt set up but the rail that I received was already spaced at 12 mm and I did not believe that it would tighten down enough to be secure in the 11 mm dovetail. In fact I called the vendor for an RMA, which I received within minutes. This vendor is so easy to deal with. But I really wanted this rail. So I decided to take a chance on breaking it and torqued those bolts down as tight as I could. I did not think that the machined aluminum would squeeze in a full 1 mm, but it did. That rail is rock solid tight on the air rifle now. There are also three set screws on the top of the rail to help further secure it in the dovetail. I installed a reflex sight on the rail and the lock up is incredibly solid. I am extremely pleased with this adapter and most certainly will purchase a few more for my other air rifles. I am very pleased with the vendor as well!

This is my 3rd UTG Leapers MNT-DTW145 Dovetail to Picatinny Rail Adaptor for my 3rd gas piston air rifle. These are VERY WELL MADE, very sturdy, and mount rock-solid to the Dovetail rail! I've been using my first one for over a year and it has not moved at all. Likewise, my 2nd one for my other rifle "is one" with the Dovetail. The bolts have never become loose or required re-tightening. It also fits both flat and round-top Dovetail rails (mine are round-top) and can be installed with the cantilever facing forward or backward. And unlike some adapters that don't sit "true" on the rail, this one sits perfectly without any cant. Since this is the 3rd air gun on which I've installed one of these I can state with confidence how well these install, fit, and function.Some reviewers have complained that this item is hard to install and even harder to remove. Reality check: It is VERY EASY TO INSTALL when you read the instructions!!! It comes with all the tools you need. This unit is not designed to be "portable" which is why it excels at its job as a precision rock-solid adapter! Yes, it CAN be removed if required; read the instructions! If you want a portable adapter to move from gun to gun, then look for something else.For the price and performance of this item, it provide exceptional value! Highly recommended!!

Prévu pour un montage sur rail 11mm. D'apparence robuste et bien fini malheureusement il y a trop d'espace entre les mâchoires de l'adaptateur et le rail donc pas moyen d'être installé. Ce produit pour moi est inutile dommage vraiment déçu

Cet adaptateur pour rail de 11 mm est parfait. J'ai acheté ce produit car j'étais pressé de vérifier la convergence des canons d'une express en cal 9,3x74R (donc avec un recul conséquent) dans l'attente d'un montage plus élaboré qui tarde à arriver et, je dois dire que j'ai été plutôt bluffé par la qualité de ce produit qui se monte très facilement et qui donne un montage solide et précis. Finalement, je regrette presque ma commande d'un montage plus prestigieux qui vaut presque dix fois le prix de cette pièce que j'ai reçu en 3 jours. Trois semaines après, l'autre montage n'est toujours pas arrivé...Ce montage est donc facile à mettre en place, à condition bien sûr de lire et de comprendre les instructions de montage.Le seul bémol, c'est qu'il donne une installation de lunette un peu haute à mon goût.

Listen carefully, before you say this product is trash you gotta know how to install it to a doverail first which is why i rate this product a 4 stars not 5 cause there is no instructions for it and its quite easy to install except the process is just abit long. Lets cut to the chase.First, when you open the package you see the picatinny rail has the screws mounted already, with another extra long screw ( just incase you lose a screw) and a small screw that goes on top that screws to the whole on top of your rifle.Tighten all the 4 small screw and the 4 long ones ( so it spreads it more so you can mount it on the dovetail rail on your gun, once you mounted it, losen and take off all 4 long screws and all 4 short screw on the sides they were on, once you take them off, take the 4 long screws and screw it to the side were the other 4 short screws were on, this is how you tighten it so it would be nice and sturdy on your gun.Thats all there is to it, its a great product hands down, its just instructionless (not a real words i think lol)Just follow my directions. At first i thought it doesnt fit but it does its just abit of a pain to put it on.

Wow! What an excellent product! Worth twice the price.Fits the CENTER of dovetail rail because of it engineering (no cheap little clip off to the side.) Temporary fitment screws slightly spread the base so you can slide this on the dovetail. Then remove those temp screws and use the provided screws for a solid attachment to the dovetail.FYI. 2" of top rail is forward of the mounting base. 1/2 inch on the back.

Very well (more than expected!!) constructed, heavy duty all metal, excellent fit/finish, professionally manufactured. Can't beat the price for a quality, well engineered, fully adjustable - Universal Dovetail to Picatinny / Weaver adapter. Very Easy to install, directions are clear, fit very well, makes mounting scope (VLife Scope) easy and makes switching scope from one rifle to another quick and easy. No Trouble at all "sighting scope" once installed - everything was plumb and square as if the adapter wasn't even there. The extra long length and universal mounting position (front to back, back to front) provides varied and multiple scope mount positions a possibility.

Spectacular. Fits well and is sturdy-once I installed this, it didn't wobble and there wasn't any give. Very stable and doesn't reduce the accuracy of a scope.Follow the included instructions or you may not be able to install it. Installation is counterintuitive and the instructions are very important. I'm not sure I appreciate the installation process, I felt like I would break it by following the instructions, but it ended up working well.Comes with extra screws in case you lose any, along with 3 Allen keys.Has 3 vertical set screws and 4 horizontal ones.I found it a bit of a tight fit on my Crosman Phantom .22 pellet rifle, but it installed beautifully after I looked at the instructions.

Sorry, I never post negative reviews. However, for this adapter, it will not work as advertised. I have an 11mm dovetail rail on my Mossberg 702 .22 LR. This adapter is supposed to fit from 9mm to 11mm dovetails. It sort of does. But, it is so strongly made, and the tightening screws are so high on the body of the adapter, that it will not compress to clamp onto the dovetail. It will not compress (tighten) even a smidgen.I even watched the maker's YouTube video on how to install it. With their mount, in the video, the adapter clamped down real easy to their dovetail. Mine will not budge; not even a micrometer. And, the instructions are clear, you cannot tighten very strongly, something like only 25 ft pd. So, there is no torquing it down. The mount will simply not budge or compress. Useless. The adapter comes in set at about 10.9mm wide at the dovetail section. It slides into the dovetail but simply won't compress past its 10.9mm width to hold it to the rifle. Period.This is sad, for it is only one of 2 that might be good for this adaptation of dove to Pic. It is really well made and very long, which is what I was needing to mount my green laser, red dot scope and small tac light.
