I needed these to arrive very quickly (they did) in order to finish building a barrel sauna kit. The sauna instructions didn’t imply ratchet straps were needed (but they were) and it was difficult to find something long enough that would cover the entire circumference of the sauna.They ended up working quite well, though I had to watch a YouTube video about how to load the strap up into the ratchet mechanism; these straps didn’t come ready to go, so to speak. Easy enough — but the pack might have just come with some instructions … a single sheet of paper with a picture or something. In any case, the strap kept the barrel tight while I installed the permanent metal hoops; after that, I just removed it and rolled it back up.Since I ordered a 4-pack, I have a few in the basement for whatever else, and one in the back of the car, just in case. My only issue is that they are a little thin and narrow, given the length (30’). Even though the strap held up to some serious pressure while I was tightening the barrel, I felt that things should probably be a bit more proportionate. A wider strap would have also allowed me to more easily get out the flips and kinks. It takes a long time to fully load the strap into the ratchet because of the length, and if you see any flips at that point, you’ll probably just choose to ignore them, like I did. If there was the option to get a wider strap, I would have.

I bought these to anchor my greenhouse in the event of a hurricane. I figured extra security wouldn’t hurt. They are made of really good material. I’m very satisfied.

I needed something to secure my patio heater to my couch as the wind had blown it over twice despite 50lbs of sand. HD didn’t have something like this (length and endless on one side). This arrived on time and I was able to immediately wrap it around my couch and heater without issue. Threaded it through ratchet end and boom, all snug. I wrapped up the extra using a plastic tie and I am all set.Hoping I won’t need to secure anything else, but if I do, this is what I will get.

It’s a bona fide cargo strap, I just have to learn how to use it now, lol, bit it’s not that hard. It comes in pretty handy to secure things on the roof of my car that don’t fit inside by using a couple of them.
