Easy to put on, well, not that easy but easy enough

The first picture shows the original part with the connecting tube. The 2nd picture is the one from this seller. Not sure how the person who left a review below had got it to work..but because it is a lot shorter for my WM3400CW, I had to return it. I would just order the original part if you can.

Required some gerryrigging, but in the end, it worked! Definitely a win to be able to fix it myself.

Part was identical to the OEM part of my washing machine (I ordered this based on part #). Quality and material feel identical. Not sure what people were saying about the drain tube hole being different... it was the same. You'll disconnect the existing rubber drain line, double male connector and hose clamps from the existing gasket/boot, and reconnect it to the newly installed boot.Watch a YouTube video to see how to install it. Liquid dish soap helps (lubricant) to install it onto the drum (interior section).Yes, you WILL need the expansion tool pliers to install the retaining springs. Buy those too.
