I checked the compatibility list and found my washers model number and ordered the piece. Easy for the hubby to install I could’ve done it if I had to. Fit perfectly and has done its intended job and is holding up perfectly. Worth every penny to make my washer usable.

perfect replacement on a Maytag washer, fits several models. Very nice to be able to locate and purchase repair parts on Amazon. Like the original part, this one is somewhat flimsy (thin plastic catch that locks the door shut while the washer is operating) so it's not hard to see why this would break over time.
