Great idea, looks goodish. Hard to make 2 wires traveling down your radiator hose look trick but everything went smoothly installing the whole setup. My unfortunate issue is the thermostat quit working on day 4 and I can’t find a replacement so I’m currently piping the hood to plug/unplug the wire to the switch because it’s “on” all the time

Faulty switch. Fan comes on when ever it feels like temp wise. Could be 140° could be 210° switch randomly grounds itself. Not happy. Trashing unit and going back to prope style
