I have long hair. Even though I would tie my hair back while preparing dinner, inevitably a family member would find a hair in the food I prepared on a regular basis.After doing some searching, I happened upon this hat.As a former chef, I'm used to chef hats, and I really like this one. It's very comfortable and easy to wear.I haven't had an issue with hairy food yet.The family loves it.

I have very long hair and Iā€™m in culinary school. The traditional chef hats do not work with my long hair. I love how I can shove all of my hair in here and tie it right.

I bought this hat 3 years ago when I started Baking and Culinary School. I have long hair and with this hat I am able to put all my hair inside this hat with no problem. Prevents from having to wear a hair net. has lasted with no issues. I wash it every day after class which is 3 days a week and has held up. Great Hat for kitchens or where you need to keep your hair up and covered

Great hat for long hair. I put my hair in a low ponytail and it easily fits in the snood part and ties tight. Top is vented and cool. It seems to be well made. For reference, my hair is middle of my back length.

The cap part fit but the bun part is huge. Like big enough to hold hair that is waist length. My hair it's neck length.

I needed a chef cap that would accommodate my long hair because other caps I tried were too shallow on top making them slide off with my hair underneath. This cap allows for my hair to be in a bun or braid in the back and then tied away safely from getting in food. I imagine the tie also would allow for larger hat size accommodation since it is adjustable. The mesh top allows heat to escape so my head also stays cool while working in the hot kitchen. The hat can be machine washed and line dried making it easy to clean. I would recommend.
