First off i love the h&k platform have a couple of real ones and wont take anything else..however this is the second of these that i bought and the same issue arises.the co2 cartridge wont seal when being replaced.tried multiple different brands.tried with or without oil and the results are the same as soon as the cartridge is punctured it empties and wont seal up at all no matter how tight or how fast you turn the screw.i gave 1 star because of the platform that part was spot on.

I wish I would have purchased the blow back version. I had higher expectations and was underwhelmed

This is a nice pistol but feels a little less solid than some of their other offerings. The grip is plastic but feels like a lesser quality than say the Glock 17 etc. It also feels a little bigger and a little simpler (lever safety) so keep that in mind. Feels a little springy when firing, the Glock and Colts are more powerful. It’s my biggest, clingiest, least powerful air pistol.Given the price I am ok with it for the collection, but I wish I spent a little more to try the Berretta or Smith & Wesson.

I'm in love with little toy. Now of course I'm biased because I'm an HK big boy toy fan, and the VP series in one of the best shooting best feeling big boy toys around imo. With that being said, the detail of this bb replica is astounding. The frame is plastic, but next to the real thing it could pass as dull polymer. And the "slide" is metal like the real thing. And of course the parts that look like the take down lever, slide lock, ejection port, ECT don't work, but a foot or 2 away, you wouldn't know they didn't.But what really gets me is the ergonomics. It honestly feels like the real thing. Of course no adjustable side or back straps, but if you kept those stock on the real thing...pretty dang close. The weight is good. Feels like about like a half empty VP9 when you're holding it. And the real kicker, which is one of my fave things in the real and bb version is the ambidextrous mag release. Works just as good as the real thing. In regards to shooting, it's fun and accurate. Granted I'm a terrible shot in real life. Arthritis and nerve damage makes it difficult to shoot anymore, but that being said at 10 yards, I grouped 18 of 20 within 1.5 inches. So not too shabby. I'm sure a steady sure shot could probably get 20 out of 20 at .5 with no worries.Trigger pull is smooth for the most part. Occasionally there is a bit of hang on the first couple. Nothing major, and that could be operator error. But after those first couple, it's like butter. It does suck not having that slide lock on a real one after that last shot, but...if you lose count, you just waste one puff of air.In regards to loading co2 and pellets...easy enough. The co2 is easy. Basically flip back where the backstrap would be, insert the tube, and twist the pin at the bottom of the frame where a normal mag would be. Loading the mag, can be cumbersome, but if you get a bb container with one of those funnels ends, it makes it easier. Again, my hands are worthless, so a normal person without the shakes could probably get it done flawlessly. On a full co2 cartridge it can do a little damage. At 10 feet a buried a pellet inside a solid piece of aged oak to the point where the bb was all the way in it and plus an extra mm or so. I haven't tested distance, but I know at 25 yards it was still arrow straight with no fall off or curve on 1/3 tank c02.Honestly, I have not one complaint about this fine piece. May even think about investing in a couple more replica ones on those days I don't feel like spending .14-.30 per round on the various real toy ammo. May not get the recoil, but can still practice my aim, and get the feel of how my real one is in my hands.Last thing I might add...invest in decent bbs. Don't get the copperheads, or other copper types. I haven't tried em, but I typically use them in tge old crossman air rifles. Stick to steel. Ones I found for cheap that have worked flawless so far are called Air Venturi and on Amazon they are pretty dang cheap.Have fun with it out there, and as always, be safe with any "firearm", even if it's air powered. Remember, you're responsible for that bullet/pellet from the moment it travels from the chamber to the moment it stops traveling all together.
