I was a little skeptical about these trimmers, as blades of no-name products can be hit or miss. I was pleasantly surprised - they really work, and they are super convenient. I have a self-healing cutting mat on my crafting desk, and I like how compact these blades are, so they are easy to tuck away when not in use, and then just pull out and quickly cut when I need to. Very happy with these!

This little paper cutter is so cute. It comes with 7 different blade choices. The Blades are sharp, cut well and are easy to change out. The designs are nice to use for papercrafts. I do not do scrapbooks, but the assortment of blades certainly are really nice for what papercraft that I do make. I always made my own greeting cards and these blades in the paper trimming device. Before I got this handly little trimmer I used several different pairs of scissors for making the decorative trim on the cards. This trimmer is so easy to use. The blades are sharp so you need to be aware of that when changing out the blades. Overall I like the compact design and the various blades certainly work better than my little scissors. Great little tool!

You will need to provide your own cutting surface. It will leave marks in wood tables. I used a wooden cutting board, and it left a cut line. But the cut edge on the paper is neat and clean. It's easy to use and even has a safety cover over the blades when not in use. You have to push down to expose the blade, so it protects the blade and your fingers from each other. It's easy to use, easy to change out the blades and easy to get nice clean lines.

I was pleasantly surprised how big the blade cartridges are. I was worried it would be difficult to get them off the plastic guide piece but there is a little notch on one side of the guide piece that lets you slide them off easily.Please be aware, the blade is on the OUTSIDE of the flat gridded piece so you need to have some kind of cutting mat under the whole thing AND your paper when you use it. If you don't you are going to cut into the surface you are using and I imagine it would probably ruin the blades.I also like that there are little containers to hold all the cartridges that are not being used. It will make keeping track of them easier and there wont be any accidental injuries when grabbing for them.

This paper trimmer came with no instructions so we have to figure out how to change the blades ourselves. I had difficulty trying to get the straight blade that came on the cutter off. I have arthritis in my hands, so they aren't very strong or able to have much dexterity. From the time I got this until last night, I kept trying to get the one straight cutter off. I squeezed it, I pulled on it, I did every motion I could think of to get it out. I did this in the spot that they showed was the place to change the blade. I tried again last night before heading to bed and I finally managed to get it off. Then I was able to get the scoring blade on. The scoring blade was the blade I most wanted to be able to use to help me get a fold on a card. I was able to score a line with it. I will need some practice with this trimmer so that I get the lines cut or scored in the proper place, especially since you have to use this directly on a cutting mat. I know I can get some effects by just using a rotary cutting blade, but that doesn't help when I want to score a line. I hope that with time I will get better with swapping out the blades.I appreciate the opportunity to try out this trimmer. Thank you.
